BOTHELL, WA, UNITED STATES, March 18, 2026  — VerAvanti today announced that it has been named a finalist for Innovation of the Year at the GeekWire Awards, which recognize the most impactful innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders in the Pacific Northwest.

The annual GeekWire Awards bring together leaders from across the region’s technology ecosystem to celebrate companies advancing new ideas and shaping the future of their industries. Winners will be announced at a live event on May 7, 2026, in Seattle.

VerAvanti was recognized for its development of the Scanning Fiber Endoscope (SFE), a next-generation intravascular imaging technology designed to provide forward-looking visualization inside blood vessels.

In many interventional procedures, existing imaging tools provide cross-sectional views but do not reveal what lies ahead of the catheter, creating uncertainty during critical moments of navigation and decision-making.

VerAvanti’s SFE platform is designed to address this gap by enabling continuous, real-time insight ahead of the device, helping physicians navigate complex anatomy with greater precision and confidence.

“Our goal is to improve visibility during intravascular procedures, particularly in the moments when physicians need to understand what lies ahead of the catheter to guide safe and precise navigation,” said Gerald McMorrow, CEO of VerAvanti. “We are honored to be recognized alongside other innovators in the Pacific Northwest and to be part of a community advancing meaningful technologies.”

Voting for the GeekWire Awards is now open to the public. Those interested can support VerAvanti by casting a vote in the Innovation of the Year category here:
